LOCATION
Northam WA 6401 -1hr, 20mins to Perth CBD, with a population of 8000.
  
PRACTICE INFORMATION
  • Six GP practice, run by a not- for- profit, near the district hospital
  • Population has high rates of chronic disease (diabetes, heart and respiratory)
  • The practice hub includes: pharmacy, pathology and café
  • There are funded programs to support:
    • Allied health: diabetes education, dietetics, podiatry, physiotherapy, exercise physiology
    • Mental health: psychologists, mental health nurse, mental health accredited social worker and aboriginal mental health workers
    • Aboriginal health: indigenous outreach worker, care coordinator and indigenous health project officer
  • The practice open hours are: Monday to Friday 8 am to 7 pm. Saturday 8 30 am to 2:30 pm.
  • You will ideally be available to work: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, part time hours can be considered
  • The practice has GPA Plus and WAGPET accreditation
THE OPPORTUNITY
  • Earn 65 - 70%, depending on experience
  • 15%-35% of billing is private
  • Relocation assistance may be available
  • Based on current figures, you can expect weekly billings of $8.5K week, in the initial months

Vocationally Registered General Practitioner desirable, General Registered, Non- VR is able to be considered
We are looking for someone who is team player, and is able to supervise GP registrars (not essential).
