LOCATION
1hr, 20mins to Perth CBD / 1hr to Midland, this is the only practice in a country town of 4000 people

PRACTICE INFORMATION
  • 1.5 GP practice, run by a Not- for- Profit group 
  • Full time nurse to support you 
  • Population has high rates of chronic disease (diabetes, heart and respiratory)
  • The practice has: Pharmacy, Pathology (clinipath), funded programs to support Allied health (Diabetes Education, Dietetics, Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology), Mental Health (Psychologists, mental health nurse, and a mental health accredited social worker) 
  • Allied Health and medical support team includes: Nurse, Practice Nurse, Onsite Pathology, Physiotherapy, Dietitian, Psychologist, Podiatrist, Exercise Physiology, Diabetes Educator, Dietician, Cardiology, Ultrasound. Visiting general physician. Audiology.
  • Practice open hours are: Monday to Friday 8 am to 7 pm. Saturday 8 30 am to 2 30 pm 
  • You will ideally be available to work: Monday to Friday 8 30 am to 5 pm, part- time is also possible.
  • The practice has GPA and WAGPET accreditation  
THE OPPORTUNITY
  • This is a replacement opportunity 
  • This is a mixed billing practice, on average 15% is private. Some GP's in the area have billed as high as 35% private
  • You will earn 70% of billings
  • We are looking for someone who is team player, and ideally able to supervise GP registrars (not essential) 
  • Relocation assistance may be available
Modern Clinic with large established practice, run by a not- for- profit organisation with practices in Toodyay, and Northam, as well as supporting the Aboriginal Health Service.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly fellowed GP or an experienced GP to take on an existing busy practice.

REQUIREMENTS
Vocationally Registered General Practitioner desirable, General Registered, Non- VR are able to be considered
