Currambine, in the City of Joondalup.  
Practice located with neighbouring pharmacy and imaging provider (SKG)

THE PRACTICE
  • GP owned, small group , 2.0 FTE currently with capacity for 6 FTE  GP practice
  • Non DWS location. Population 7,000.  Median age 36 yrs. 65 yrs + 9% and children 0-14 yrs 19%  
  • Patient demographic is: Mixed demographic with young families but also older patients who have been with the practice for 20 yrs.  20% British population.
  • The team includes: Nurse, Practice Nurse, Chronic Disease Nurse, Care Plan Nurse, and
  • There is a Highly experienced Business Manager and long term reception staff
  • There is: onsite pathology, and pharmacy located nearby
  • Patient and staff parking available
THE OPPORTUNITY
  • This is a mixed billing practice with 50% of billing private
  • You will typically see Up to 40 per day  patients per day
  • The practice is in a modern, purpose built building. Moved to current site in 2012 situated in a health hub with pharmacy, imaging and physiotherapy close by
  • Additional skills that would be beneficial (but not essential) include is women's health, skin cancer, and minor surgery
EARNINGS OVERVIEW
  • You will earn 70% of gross billing and guarantee to $130 per hour for 3/12
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • You’ll ideally be available to start ASAP, but are able to be flexible on this point for the right person
  • The practice uses Best Practice software
  • Opening hours are: Mon-Fri 8 am to 6 pm and Saturday 8-12 pm  Closed Sundays , you’ll ideally be available to work: Flexibility on hours available  (this can be negotiated to suit you)
