LOCATION
The Practice is the centre of a multidisciplinary 3000 sqm purpose built medical facility. Upstairs houses GP and some visiting specialists. Downstairs are: dentist; pathology; women's clinic; aesthetic clinic; psychologists; and pharmacy. The practice is geographically in the center of the area. SJOG and BRH are 2km away as crow flies.

THE PRACTICE
  • GP owned, independent, 18 GP practice
  • Holds a rare DWS exemption
  • The patient demographic is balanced, erring towards younger demographic
  • The team includes: psychologist, cardiologist, dermatologist, paediatrician, midwife, physio, dentist, exercise physiologist, social worker, nurse, practice nurse, chronic disease nurse, care plan nurse, and physiotherapist, podiatrist, diabetes educator
  • There is an administration staff, practice manager, reception staff, occupational health staff
  • There is: onsite pathology, pharmacy, mole check facilities onsite
  • Patient and staff parking available
THE OPPORTUNITY
  • This opportunity arises as a result of replacement, alongside significant growth in patient numbers
  • This is a mixed billing practice, 35-40% of billing is private
  • There isn't an expectation of numbers. With 15 minute appointments the norm, you will probably see four patients per hour. The practice is about quality of medicine not the quantity!
The practice strives to accommodate doctors needs and wants. Caring for Doctors, staff, anf patients. Continuity of care and service provision for the community is a key goal.

As the practice proactively works to achieve security from potential future changes to Primary Care funding, there is an investment in the high quality staff and facilities to match excellent Practitioners working here.

There is also a focus on developing the Private GP market, as well as Occ Health, Skin (both Skin Cancer, and Cosmetic), and After- Hours.
The strong historical link with GP training is continued with a healthy relationship with WAGPET.

EARNINGS OVERVIEW
  • You will earn 65% of billings
  • Based on current figures, you can reasonably expect to achieve annual earnings $350-500k

  • Opening hours are: Mon - Fri 8-8, Sat 8.30 - 5. Sunday and PH 10-6
  • You’ll ideally be available to work: 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (can be negotiated to suit you)
