THE PRACTICE - FACILITIES AND SUPPORT
  • This is a well- run corporate practice in a modern, purpose built facility
  • There is a focus on educational and training, with fortnightly clinical educational meetings with local and visiting specialists and participation in medical student training with the Rural Clinical School
  • Convenient town centre location attracts a loyal patient following
  • Practice has a fully-equipped treatment room and has a pathology service next door, which enables the practitioners to respond to a wide range of treatments including but not limited to, venesections, minor surgeries and transfusions
  • Current specialist interests: Family medicine, venesections, infusions, dermatology, vaccinations and travel medicine
  • Practice has AGPAL, and WAGPET Training accreditation, and uses Medical Director software
  • An interest in Occupational Medicine will be a benefit
  • The practice is open 8am-7pm Mon-Fri, and 8am-4pm Saturday, you are encouraged to work the hours that suit you best. Ideally you will be able to offer one evening and one weekend session weekly for the GP team rota (this is desirable, not essential!)
  • experience as a GP Trainer would be well- regarded
THE OPPORTUNITY
  • There is significant unmet patient demand in the area
  • Private billing is at your discretion
  • Earn 70% of gross billings (*PIPS and SIPS included)
  • Appointments are mainly booked, there are some walk- ins, which will help you build your personal patient base
  • Given patient demand and support, full time GPs safely earn $400,000 - $450,000+, per annum
  • Opportunities available for non- VR, including supporting you in the Practice Experience Program (PEP)
*Procedural GPs: due to growing demand for medical services, there are facilities available for GPs with speciality interests including (but not limited to) Skin and Cosmetic, Mental Health, and Chronic Disease Management
