PRACTICE INFORMATION
  • 8 GP practice, part of a GP led, small group of practices
  • very good mix of patient demographic, it has a lot of older patients, but a lot of new young families in the area.
  • Allied Health and Medical support team includes: Nurse, onsite Pathology, Occupational Health
  • the practice open hours are: 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm Saturday (there is a plan to go into longer after- hours opening hours in the future- this is an option available for you, but not essential)
  • the practice has AGPAL and GP Training accreditation, and usually has 2 - 3 registrars
THE OPPORTUNITY
  • there isn't an expectation of numbers. With 15 minute appointments the norm, you will probably see four patients per hour
  • this practice is about quality of medicine not the quantity!
  • you will earn 65% of billings. Initial hourly rate guarantee is available
  • we are looking for someone who is able to start in the coming months
As the practice proactively works to achieve security from potential future changes to Primary Care funding, there is an investment in the high quality staff and facilities to match the excellent Practitioners working here.

There is also a focus on developing the Private GP market, as well as Occ Health, and Skin (both Skin Cancer, and Cosmetic). 

The strong historical link with GP training is continued with a healthy relationship with WAGPET.
